The designer profession is one of the most popular and promising in the labor market. Modern machine-building production is constantly changing in the direction of automation and complexity. Therefore, the curriculum of the direction focuses on high-tech disciplines. The qualification obtained at the University allows you to design aircraft engines, their operation and maintenance, as well as technological processes for manufacturing parts with the involvement of computer-aided design systems.

Компетенции
During training students:
• explore in detail design of gas turbine engine not only on the pages of textbooks, but seeing it with own eyes in the big Museum of aviation engines, located on the campus ,
• learn to create three-dimensional models of various parts of engine in modern CAD programs required by companies — Adem, Compass, NX (Unigraphics), Solid Works, will be able to carry out finite element calculations of the whole engine and individual components in programs such as Ansys, ADAMS, CFX, Numeca, Fluent, they are able to carry out work on experimental installations, they will be able to exchange knowledge with Russian students, as well as take their developments to the international arena or simply go on an exchange internship.

Graduates of this specialty can work at companies that produce engines and power plants «General Electric», «Rolls-Royce» and others. They can also work at airports and companies that repair engines and power plants.
